iLens: There's more then meets the eye (Technology)

Apple iLens Announced : The Smart and powerful Contact Lenses

In the present day scenario many Smartphone and gadgets manufactures companies are in a super rush mode to develop the technology that we are using right now…Until this year we have seen many Smartphones, Wearable technology and even the most excited Google Glasses are ruling the present market……….but here’s one technology that no one has thought this would happen…i.e. the Apple iLens.

When people watched Tom cruise starred Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol there Tom Cruise scans the document by blinking twice and its gets printed automatically. Many felt that if this technology existed then it would be a huge boon to make things even smarter. Keeping these views on aspect they developed and announced the launch of iLens.According to Apple this smart lens works far better than Google Glass. This iLens comes with an ear piece and is activated by a series of user’s blinks. According to the designer Parker Johnson this would appear similar to the normal contact lens that we generally use in our day to day to life. Unlike the Google Glass it would appear more eye-catching than the later. The iLens performs like an iPhone. You can make calls, send and receive texts, e-mails, and even scroll through all social media contents.

The iLens will be released in May 2015 and also the iLens Air model in the late 2015. The iLens costs around $299 for 64GB and $499 for 128GB. It would be great if this is complimented with the iWatch and iPhone. Getting an Apple iLens from apple will be really cool and you can take it with you everywhere you go fitted at your eye. Using it, you can use Internet anywhere you want icon wink Apple iLens Announced : The Smart and powerful Contact Lenses That’s the main benefit. 2. Recent TV advertisements showed how the society is consumed by the internet. Remember the Chinese New Year advertisement on the son and the daughter, constantly on their phone no matter what they were doing with no regards to the elderly, including the dinner table?

Isn't the iLens more of a plague to the society than an improvement, now that with the iLens, you don't even need to look down. You just sit in an upright position and be on the internet with no regards for everything that's happening around you.

  3. What is the iLens made of? Is it thin enough to fit into our pupils and wouldn't it be dangerous?

I have really dry and sensitive eyes so wearing normal contacts hurts even for a few hours. I cannot imagine wearing this, hmmm.

  5. The iLens sounds kind of unbelievable, being able to do so much with just a lens. But when the iLens is released wouldn't many people just stay on their social networks instead of having a face to face conversation with their friends even more as opposed to using a smartphone? The iLens sounds great in a way but in other words everyone will get absorbed in their gadgets more than before. Everyone's already absorbed in their smartphones, I can't imagine what it's like when the iLens is here.

  7. I don't even dare to wear contacts because of the side effects it causes. What's more to say about this new gadget.

  8. The world advances as of the technology. I would say the iLens is an advantage but not a necessity.
Think of plagiarism and the anti social already going on in this community.

  11. This is really something to be amazed but I think the society will be more anti-social and be more lazy because people do not even need to on or use anything to do anything. the society should learn to use these technology wisely.

  12. I find this really amazing at the same time i'm slightly worried about it being on my eyes. I mean, its only normal that i get rather scared about this, this is our future and all but what if things go wrong. Is apple going to be able to bear the causes of this. I hope they do proper testings on this before actually putting it on a human eye. Because no money can every replace that.
